Disneyland Paris Hotel

There’s a place where magic fills the air, fairy tales come to life, and every moment feels like a step into a storybook. A world where castles sparkle, familiar characters greet you around every corner, and thrilling rides bring favorite tales to life. Every visit to Disneyland Paris promises an adventure, from the enchanting parades down Main Street to the glowing fireworks lighting up the night.

Visiting Disneyland Paris is an adventure filled with wonder, but it can also be overwhelming, so choosing the right hotel nearby can make all the difference. Just beside the park gates lies the Disneyland Hotel Paris, perfectly positioned overlooking the Magic Kingdom itself.

This newly renovated hotel promises an experience close to the magic, with easy access to the park’s attractions and the chance to immerse yourself in the Disney charm from dawn till dusk. But is it truly worth the price tag? Let’s take a closer look.

Here we go! Let’s determine if staying here is worth it while we cover all aspects of the hotel, from the rooms to the location.

The Location

Disneyland Paris Hotel Review

Getting to Disneyland Paris—and finding your way to the Disneyland Hotel—is refreshingly simple, so you can dive into the magic without any trouble. If you’re arriving by car, just follow the signs to the main entrance, which will lead you straight to the hotel (valet parking is available, too, for added ease). For those coming by train, it’s even easier: head to the Marne-la-Vallée/Chessy Disneyland train station, just a short walk from the park’s main entrance. Once there, the hotel awaits on the right side of the entrance.

If you arrive before check-in, no worries—you can leave your bags with the hotel staff and head straight into the park to start enjoying the magic right away.

The Rooms

Disneyland Paris Hotel Rooms

The rooms at the Disneyland Hotel Paris are spacious and feature comfortable beds, creating a cozy retreat after a long day in the park. However, I found them to be quite basic, which might be due to the hotel’s family-friendly focus—fewer items in the room means a lower chance of something getting broken by excited little ones. The bathrooms are clean, yet similarly minimal, lacking some of the extra touches I had hoped for, like a coffee maker. However, there’s free water and juice in the mini-bar.

Navigating the hotel can feel like a bit of a maze due to its size, and while overall, everything was fine, I expected a touch more in terms of decor and amenities. For example, while the closet had automatic lights, the doors didn’t close properly, which prevented the lights from turning off. These small details, especially considering the hotel’s price point, left me wanting more. That said, you’re paying for the prime location, excellent service, and convenience of staying so close to the magic.

The Restaurant

The Disneyland Hotel Paris has two restaurants and a bar, but you’ll need to book a reservation early since they fill up quickly. We decided to stay in the park longer instead. (If you’re looking for a good sit-down lunch, I recommend making a reservation at Walt's on Main Street.)

We opted for room service during our stay, which is available until 10.30 PM. It came quickly and was pretty tasty, making it a great way to relax after a fun day.

The Amenities

The Disneyland Hotel Paris offers some fun amenities, such as small character shows for kids that bring a bit of Disney magic right to the hotel. There's also a Disney store on-site, perfect for picking up some souvenirs. If you're traveling with little ones, the kids' club provides a space where children can draw and be entertained, giving you a chance to enjoy a moment to yourself.

While the hotel has a pool, I found it to be on the smaller side so it can feel quite crowded, and the temperature wasn’t very warm. However, since it was raining during our stay, we took the opportunity to escape the weather and enjoy the spa facilities and pool for a bit before heading back into the park. It was a nice way to unwind and recharge for more adventures!

The Verdict

I really enjoyed my stay at the Disneyland Hotel Paris; it had been my dream for years. It’s such an iconic spot that I think everyone should experience it at least once. Overall, the stay is worth the price, especially because of the convenience. We stayed one night and were able to enter the park on both days. In the evenings, the park is much less crowded, so the lines are almost non-existent. Where it took us just five minutes to get on Space Mountain in the evening, the next day, the wait was 50 minutes!

Plus, when the weather turns, you can easily hop back to your room to change or drop off your souvenirs. If you’re traveling with kids or tend to feel overwhelmed by crowds, having a nearby retreat is invaluable, even if just for an hour. The staff is incredibly accommodating and friendly, making you feel like you’re truly in the happiest place on earth.

If you’re considering it, I genuinely recommend staying here at least once in your life. There’s truly no place like it; they can sing, they can dance—after all, this is France!

I hope this was helpful. If you have any more questions, you can always reach out here or on Instagram, and I’m more than happy to answer any of your questions. Happy Travels!
