However, I understand that there are many other incredible places worth exploring, and I am continuously seeking new adventures. One of Oman's greatest treasures is its rich cultural heritage. From the historic forts and castles of Nizwa to the traditional mud-brick houses of Al Hamra, Oman's got it all. I stayed in the Canyon View room, and to this day, it’s one of my favorite places I’ve ever stayed at. Little Fun fact: Princess Diana stayed in this hotel when she visited Oman. So if it’s good enough for Diana… ;)

Planning to visit Lake Bled? Then Grand Hotel Toplice is the way to go. This stunning Small Luxury hotel is located right by the water and offers amazing views of the lake. If you’ve done a bit of research about the area, you’ve probably seen the picture I posted above of a little church on a teeny tiny island. This church is called the Church Of The Mother Of God and can be reached only by boat. Why am I telling you this? When you stay at Grand Hotel Toplice, you can rent a boat for free and row to visit the church and the rest of the lake. It’s a unique way to experience the local scenery.
